This traditional holiday event is a long-standing favorite which brings families from far and wide to usher in the spirit of the season. You'll want to bundle up and get downtown early to stake out a prime spot for the parade which begins at the corner of St. Vrain and Tejon streets. The parade route continues south on Tejon to Vermijo St. and features marching bands from area high schools, a variety of floats, groups parading on horseback and a multitude of marchers, spectators and (of course) Santa Claus issuing forth holiday cheer.

People driving downtown are urged to utilize the parking garages, since many of the metered spaces will be restricted. Parking for disabled guests is located on Kiowa St., with necessary overflow on Bijou St.
