I'll Be Home for Christmas Parade
December 6, 2008
Add Review/Comment
The I'll Be Home for Christmas parade runs through downtown Woodland Park, (effectively shutting down US Hwy 24 for about an hour). The parade boasts floats, bands and mounted units with "bum warming" stations posted throughout the parade route to keep everyone warm and cheeky! After the parade, the festivities continue with the annual tree lighting ceremony, a performance by the Woodland Park Wind Symphony and the Summit Singers, parade award presentations are made, and visits with Santa commence at the Ute Pass Cultural Center.
