Eric Saline's participatory installation, "Someplace to Go," invites audience members to project themselves in a variety of imaginary environments of various sizes and scales. Using printed paper, which is often made from recycled materials, as well as wood, mirrors and light, Saline will create an installation in the gallery that evokes the perception-altering experience of travel. The installation invites viewers to consider how we interpret our impressions of places we go, and how our various cultural contexts influence those impressions.

Saline is a Colorado College alumnus who currently lives and teaches in Sweden. Sponsored by the Robert & Ruby Priddy Charitable Trust and CC's art department.
