Ever wonder what it takes to spot the creatures that surround you as you visit Cheyenne Mountain State Park? Our "Wildlife Spy," Ranger Ryan Downing will present tips and techniques that have helped him in acquiring phenomenal photos of wildlife found in and around the park. Join us as he shares his tricks of the trade in finding the elusive bobcat, the bold badger and regal raptors.
A series of engaging practice sessions and hikes will be held over the next several weeks to follow up and practice your skills. The program sessions held in the Visitor Center are free, but a valid parks pass is required to access the trails or other park facilities. Designed for ages 9 and up, but children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
