One of America's most unusual folksingers and backcountry travelers, Walkin' Jim Stoltz, on tour from the mountains of Montana, will bring his powerful multimedia show, "Forever Wild," to Colorado Springs in a benefit concert for the Trails and Open Soace Coalition.

The mix of stunning photography, stories and music make this a moving visit to our nation's remaining natural areas. Walkin' Jim gets his name from over 27,000 miles he's walked through the wild country of North America. His performance is more than a concert; Walkin' Jim has toured extensively for over twenty years, constantly updating the show with images from each year's new treks. These have included several Mexico to Canada hikes, a hike from Yellowstone to the Yukon, and many treks in little-known, trailless areas, from Southwest desert canyon country to the high ridges of the Rockies. Walkin' Jim has received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Environmental Protection Agency for his sharing of, and advocacy for, American wilderness. TOSC works to preserve open space and rural land, and create a network of trails, bikeways and greenways in the Pikes Peak region.
