The Colorado Springs Conservatory presents local, regional and national professionals for a superb evening of jazz music.

For February's Jazz Nite, CSC Faculty member Dennis Bueno is featured, performing with the Salsa band Orquesta Sabroso. This outstanding band has been together for about 11 years and has played venues throughout Colorado. The band consists of as many as 11 performers and plays a variety of Caribbean rhythms. The band is most noted for its Cuban sound. For this concert, Dennis would like to take the opportunity to educate the listeners about this genre of Cuban music, the rhythms, and parts that encompass the music. It will be a demonstration about the music as well as a pleasing concert of musical selections that will not only demonstrate Cuban Jazz, but also what Salsa is all about.
