Bluesman Tommy Castro returns! Tommy Castro packs the house wherever and whenever he performs. Area blues fans will be out in force this time when the Tommy Castro Band returns to the Crystola Roadhouse.
A little background for your edification:
The Tommy Castro Band has been amazing audiences since its formation in 1991. On May 8, 2008, Tommy won the BB King Blues Entertainer of the Year award and his most recent album, Painkiller, won for Contemporary Blues Album of the Year at the Blues Music Awards held in Memphis. A Music Company, Inc., promoter of the show, also brought the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Revue to the area in 2007. The show was the brainchild of Tommy Castro and featured his band along with other blues artists Ronnie Baker Brooks, Deanna Bogart and Magic Dick. The show was sold out and Tommy's legion of fans was eagerly awaiting his return when A Music Company brought the Tommy Castro Band to the Crystola in October of 2008. A Music Company also brought the Tommy Castro Band to the Belvedere in Canon City in 2007.
