Basic Raptor Identification

Everyone is invited to join our volunteers for this training session on identifying eagles, harriers and other large raptors. Learn what hawks live and hunt in the park and how to distinguish one species from another. Bring binoculars for a short outdoor viewing session. Reservations required–call 719 576-2016. (The classroom portion of the program is free, but attendees must have a valid State Parks pass to access the trails and other park facilities.)
