Kids Connecting with Nature: Bird Songs
February 28, 2009
Add Review/Comment
Three to five-year olds and their parents are invited to join volunteer naturalist Jerri DeCarolis to discover the auditory wonders of the bird world. Through a Native American story, children will be introduced to the feathered residents of the park and learn how they got their songs. After listening to some recorded bird sounds, the children can make their own callers to use on a short hike to practice finding and calling to birds. Reservations required–call 719 576-2016.
