Get ready for a feast for the senses! Stratified Senses & Sensualities, an installation exhibit, is designed to expand and engage all of the senses-hearing, touch, smell, taste and sight. An eclectic group of installation artists will create emotional, visual and intellectual dialogues engaging a variety of senses resulting in an explosion of multi-layered response. Featured artists include Kat and Bob Tudor, Lorelei Beckstrom, Tim Flood, DeLane Bredvik, Business of Art Center collaborating artists Jay Miller, Paul Dahlsten, Carroll Dorrell, Harriet Lee, Craig Cantrell and John Venezia, and the PPCC Student Art Club.

Entertainment at the reception will be provided by The Pope Didgeridoo Trio, performing improvisational aboriginal sounds. The reception is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

Painter/dancer Kat Tudor will create spontaneous expressions in paint to delight the senses while hanging suspended upside-down in mid-air, accompanied by husband Bob Tudor performing his original musical compositions. The Tudors are known for their fascinating and delightful works, including the Uncle Wilber fountain in Acacia Park and the interactive Quarters for Conservation exhibits at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Lorelei Beckstrom creates a dramatic exploration of color, light and atmosphere in sheets of Plexiglas contained spaces.

Timothy C. Flood explores illusion, line and light in a carefully constructed giant vortex incorporating a haunting and compelling auditory component.

DeLane Bredvik engages all the senses in this shimmering examination of emotional vulnerability, approachability and trust.

Studio artists from the Business of Art Center in Manitou Springs, including Jay Miller, Paul Dahlsten, Carroll Dorrell, Harriet Lee, Craig Cantrell and John Venezia, create a tactile and visual group installation that integrates various formal considerations and the experience of collaboration.

The PPCC Art Club students will create an original group installation in the lobby.
