The 2nd Annual Indie Spirit Film Festival, put on by the Independent Film Society of Colorado, will take place in several venues located throughout downtown Colorado Springs. The 2008 Indie Spirit Film Festival showcased over 80 films with a mix of shorts, feature, documentaries, animation, student, foreign, horror, and Native American films. For the 2009 festival, IFSOC has added a Colorado Spotlight program, filmmaker panels, a hospitality center and a filmmaker lounge.

Kimball's Twin Peak Theater will serve as the upcoming festival's main venue, utilizing both auditoriums for screenings all weekend. Festival goers will also be able to see films at Studio Bee in the Pikes Peak Center, the Antlers Hilton Learning Center, and the Lon Chaney Theater, all located in downtown Colorado Springs.

Film titles and the schedule of events will be released in late March, so keep looking here for upcoming information.
