29th Annual Arts Business Education Consortium Awards Luncheon

Each year the Arts Business Education (ABE) Consortium hosts a luncheon to honor educators, businesses and local citizens who contribute significantly to the arts in education. At the luncheon, awards for innovative and exemplary arts programs are presented by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, the Bee Vradenburg Foundation, the Pikes Peak Arts Council, The Colorado Springs Business Journal and the ABE Consortium. Also during the luncheon, selected elementary and middle school students from the Pikes Peak region are awarded The Mary Lou Anderson Scholarships to be used to take classes in the visual arts, dance, music, theater and the literary arts. Student artwork from local schools is prominently on display and students provide musical entertainment.
The ABE Consortium is especially pleased to announce that this year's keynote speaker is the President and CEO of Americans For The Arts, Robert Lynch.
