Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center's free educational lecture series continues in April with a continuing focus on Charles Elliot Perkins' gift of Garden of the Gods Park to the City of Colorado Springs in 1909. Actors portraying various individuals of that time provide unique perspectives not only of the actual gift of the Park but of various popular sentiments regarding its use.

Each Tuesday at noon during April, a free half-hour presentation is being offered:
April 28 - Observations of Charles Perkins' daughter Alice about the children's perspective on this generous "gift."
