    An edgy, contemporary "Dead Poets Society" meets "Stand By Me," "Face the City" is a live rock, multimedia theatrical experience about an idealistic dreamer who leaves his high school past only to find roads of disillusionment in the real world.     An edgy, contemporary "Dead Poets Society" meets "Stand By Me," "Face the City" is a live rock, multimedia theatrical experience about an idealistic dreamer who leaves his high school past only to find roads of disillusionment in the real world. The last night of a high school dream is celebrated by The Painter, The Journalist, and The Composer as told by The Performer. The four teenage boys embark on a journey that takes them into the forbidden underbelly of East L.A., a fantasy flight on the "Rock Dragon" and an ascent up "The Bridge" that serves as a metaphor throughout the show. "Face the City" is the inspirational true story about redemption and the recapturing of innocence in a society that so readily tries to define who you are. With Jesse Wilson, writer/performer, and musician Mad Francis. Sponsored by the CC Summer Festival of the Arts.
