Please join us at our Opening Reception on Friday, May 1, from 5 - 8 p.m. In the classical tradition, an eclogue was a poem composed to celebrate the rural landscape and its distinctive patterns of life not just in general, but focusing on specific, detailed scenes and interactions. This show features graphite and colored-pencil drawings of (mostly) native plants, as well as glass sculptures of flowers and insects from around the world. Jason Dunks and Julie Sprinkle share more that the passion for their own unique crafts. They both represent in exquisite detail and craftmanship a world that most of us would simply step over on our way to be somewhere else in our busy lives. Let their intricate drawings and sparkling exotic insects and flowers transform your perception of this world we all share.
