    The MAT welcomes back Gemma Wilcox (The HoneyMoon is Officially Over (2008) and Shadows in Bloom (2009), in a new play 52 Pick Up. 52 cards in a deck! 52 scenes about a couple's relationship! The title of each scene is written on a card. At the start of the show the deck is shuffled and tossed in the air. The actors pick up the cards one at a time, which determines the playing order of the scenes. No two shows are alike and the two actors are superb as they play out the chaos of an out of sequence relationship.

    John Moore of the Denver Post raved, "52 Pick Up requires ferocious and fully committed performances, and that's what Gemma Wilcox and Sam Elmore have honed [...] Between scenes they circle each other like animals in heat, then dive in to whatever scene comes up with abandon and total trust. It all makes for a quick evening that's at times funny, passionate and sad, but at all times honest."
