The 19th Annual Clayfest is an event that brings spectators and potters of all skill levels together for a weekend of fun and games hosted by the affable Jim Jackson from Manitou Art Theater. The Potters' Games this year include blind-folded pot throwing, the Soldner Challenge, all-day pots competition in aesthetic, biggest pot and tea pot categories, partners handle-pull, no-handed pot throwing and (sure to be a crowd favorite), the fastest bucket o' balls. In addition to the pottery competitions, there are workshops for professional and amateur potters, throwing lessons for $5 and activities for children. Don't miss this uniquely Manitou-flavored event.
