A Celebration of Creation and Destruction! The Pikes Peak Arts Fest is featuring, for the second year in a row, Ignite! This lovely addition has been brought about by a group of youth artists from the local art organization, FutureSelf, in an attempt to unite the community and raise money for our program. Ignite! will feature performance art, live music (from 4:30-6:30 p.m.), a live community art piece, body painting, and art on exhibition throughout the day, all culminating into a unique auction (around 6:30 p.m.), in which the pieces exhibited in the show that are not bid on will be executed by methods randomly selected by the Wheel of Death (a performance piece in itself!) Please come and enjoy your fourth of July with us! Show your support to Futureself, the incredible program that inspires, encourages, and keeps young adults motivated to explore vitality, all through the means of art.
