Come experience the rhythmic energy of tap dance in a free Intro to Tap Dance Workshop at the Colorado Academy of Music and Dance. Tap dancing is a great way to have fun while building strength and stamina. Learn basic movements in a high-energy 50-minute class followed by a performance by instructor Amber Dunworth. The class is open to adults and teens ages 15 and up. No previous dance experience is required. Wear comfortable clothing and tap shoes or flat, hard-soled shoes. Participants 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The workshop will be held Saturday, April 12th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Colorado Academy of Music and Dance at 975 Garden of the Gods Rd. Ste. F. For information or to pre-register, call 635-1004.
