A series of paintings by Sandy Applegate, based on Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem, April 9 to June 3, 2008. A reception with the artist is scheduled for Friday, April 18, 5-8 pm as part of the BAC's Campus-wide Art Release Event. Sandy has placed raven images in atmospheres suggested by phrases from Poe's poem. These are not illustrations, but paintings that evoke the many word-pictures from this great poem.
