Join us First Friday, October 2 from 5pm-8pm for the opening reception of Desde Mi Altura (From My Altitude), featuring artwork & poetry by incarcerated Cuban 5 member, Antonio Guerrero. (The exhibition continues through October 30.)

Antonio Guerrero has spent more than 10 years in a Colorado prison where making artwork & poetry have been his escape from his concrete enclosed isolation. A self-taught artist & poet, Antonio's paintings, illustrations and poems transcend the gallery display to become a testament of the human memory, imagination and spirit, as well as the profound sustentive quality found in the art experience. Opening night features live readings of Antonio's poems in both Spanish and English by Jimmy Santiago Baca.
