September 5-September 7, 2009
Add Review/Comment
This year's Commonwheel Artists Co-op Labor Day Festival features many performances and activities just for kids. On Saturday, the Smilez, an energetic rock and roll band for kids and families, and Heidi Cooper grace the stage of Manitou's Memorial Park. Later, Ben Pratt and Heidi share a set of eclectic songs about recycling and the creatures and cultures of the planet. Other kid-friendly activities throughout the weekend include: face painting, drawing, sock puppet workshops, giant bubbles, and balloon magic. Check out the entire Festival entertainment line up at www.comonwheel.com/festival.
