Four friends journey from the highs of high school into sobering reality of the real world–and beyond. Written and performed by Juilliard theatre graduate Jesse Wilson, with original music by Mad Francis, "Face the City" is the autographical adventure of an aspiring young actor seeking fame and fortune in New York City who, along with his friends–a Painter, a Journalist, and a Composer–is forced to come to terms with loss, compromise and finally escape from false dreams. Combining one-man theatre, original rock music, animation and film, "Face the City" delivers a unique theatrical experience that's powerful, brutally honest, often hilarious, and exhilarating.
