    Classically Alive World Tour

    In little more than 60-minutes, trot the globe with music from Argentina, the United States, France, Russia and Japan!

    Claudio Maldonado, Argentine guitarist and composer, now makes his home in Los Angeles, CA. Claudio Maldonado is founder of the "Bienal Patagonico de Musica Electroacustica y Arte Sonoro" Contemporary Music Festival, and winner of the "Young Creators" prize from the Argentine Cultural Department. Classically Alive is delighted to host Claudio here for the first time. Claudio will play a dazzling array of guitar works, including original compositions. Additionally, he will perform on the ronroco, a South American fretted-string instrument.     Yuki Isami, Japanese flutist, now makes her home in Montreal, Canada. She studied at the University of Music in Tokyo, and the McGill Conservatory and Conservatoire de Musique in Montreal. Ms. Isami is the First Prize winner of Toho Gamuen in Japan, and the Prix Avec Grand Distinction in Canada. Classically Alive is delighted as well to host Yuki for the first time.

    Yuki and Claudio collaborate frequently on flute-guitar duo music. Additionally, Yuki will treat us to selections on the shamisen, a 3-stringed Japanese instrument.
