Thanks to a collaboration with KRCC, COPPeR, the Gazette, the Independent, Independent Records and the Pikes Peak Center, the Showcase at Studio Bee features some of the best in local talent performing original music. All artists included in the Showcase are homegrown talent from El Paso, Teller, Pueblo counties and have produced an album and write their own music.

The Mitguards bring a unique and non-traditional perspective to folk music, combining sharp, insightful lyrics with haunting melodies and flawless harmonies. Roots-based Americana takes on a new, Southwestern air in the talented hands and voices of Deb and Chris Mitguard.
