Beki Hemingway is a singer/songwriter based first (and currently) in Denver, with stops in Chicago, Nashville, and Glasgow along the way, and she writes and sings some of the best songs you've never heard.

Her long and varied career has found her playing in several bands, including hysterical punkers This Train, as well as singing live and studio backup vocals on everything from industrial to inspirational music in Chicago. She went solo in 1997, and has been steadily gathering acclaim ever since. She has released five CDs on Minneapolis-based indie Salt Lady Records, performing up to 150 shows per year, sharing the stage as an opener for such acts as Shawn Colvin, Aimee Mann, Pierce Pettis, Lowen & Navarro, and Vigilantes of Love.

After a two year break, Beki is writing for a new CD and beginning to fill the calendar with live performances with guitarist/producer husband Randy Kerkman. You can check out her music at http://www.myspace.com/bekihemingway
