The First Christian Church Concert Series presents "Love: So Fair, So Sweet, So Cruel," performed by Amuse, an early instrument ensemble. They will perform music from the Medieval to the Baroque on recorders of all sizes, regal, dulcian, harpsichord and organ. A free will offering will be taken.

Dancing with the theme of love, Amuse presents a concert laden with heartache, flirtations, sorrow, and resolution. This program begins with an energetic medieval Estampie, then moves into the Renaissance with Orlando de Lasso and a suite of Hans Gerle pieces which tells a love story. Then it is on to the Baroque with a lively suite by Henry Purcell and a concerto by Antonio Vivaldi. Come join us for an afternoon of love songs of the heavens and the earth. The performers are: Nancy Ekberg, Susan Virga, Ria Van der Heijde-Zomerdijk and Emily Chan, recorders; William Adams, recorders, dulcian, regal, and harpsichord; Carol Wilson, organ and harpsichord.
