Rising star Ricky Sweum plays saxophone with one foot rooted in tradition and one looking to the future. Sweum is backed up by Jason Crowe on bass, Henrique de Almeida, drums and guitarist Wayne Wilkinson. Together they'll open the Saturday evening session of the Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society's 25th Birthday Celebration. They're followed by the 18-piece PPJASS All-Star Big Band with vocalist Marcie Hureau for your listening and dancing pleasure. Dancing, cash bars and cabaret seating, plus door prizes and surprises guarantee a great party and a notable milestone for the 25th birthday celebration!
