CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

An Eye For Watercolor with Loren Yukawa
February 9-March 16, 2010
Many people view watercolor as unforgiving, believing that you must "get it right" the first time and you can't change it once it's on the paper. In reality, however, the characteristics of watercolor paint make it amenable to alteration through layering, lifting, and other techniques. The purpose of this class will be to help beginners develop a comfort level with watercolor, by learning techniques to alter their initial efforts to achieve desired results. The class will also help you develop an eye to evaluate your painting and to determine what changes to make to add life to it.
