    10,000 athletes from 46 states in 29 sports for athletes of ages and skill levels, Aug.2-5, In Colorado Springs. Colorado residents can register to compete at www.state.games.org or call the Colorado Springs Sports Corp for information (719) 634-7333. Sport venues include the Air Force Academy, World Arena, Olympic Training Center, Fort Carson and Colorado College. Opening Ceremony Aug. 2 at the World Arena, 7:00 p.m.
