    Pikes Peak region blues fans must really love the Tommy Castro Band, because he's making his way back to the area for another evening of red-hot blues. Tommy Castro and his band have been amazing audiences since they formed in 1991. The accolades they've amassed are notable, and they keep coming: On May 8, 2008, Tommy won the BB King Blues Entertainer of the Year Award and his most recent album, Painkiller, won for Contemporary Blues Album of the Year at the Blues Music Awards in Memphis. Nominations for 2010 include Band of the Year; B.B. King Entertainer of the Year; Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year; Keith Crossan (saxophone in Tommy’s band) was nominated for Best Instrumentalist and Hard Believer (Tommy’s most recent release) was nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
