To coincide with their 30th Anniversary Celebration, the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association will honor Charles Ansbacher, Conductor Laureate of the Colorado Springs Symphony who was largely responsible for the rise of the artistic excellence of our now Colorado Springs Philharmonic and who played a major part in the funding and building of Pikes Peak Center. The luncheon is the centerpiece of a weekend that includes two concerts and special events for Youth Symphony alumni and organization families and supporters. The Youth Symphony itself will perform in concert with the United States Air Force Academy’s popular music ensemble, Blue Steel, after the luncheon. The event features special guests and live musical performances from Youth Symphony Ensembles.
