Join us at Safron for a girls night out. In-store sales, refreshments and a chance to visit with one of the incredibly unique artists whose wearable art graces our store. This month, Maureen Cortes, fiber artist, will be on hand to discuss her work, and she will be bringing several one of a kind pieces for your perusal. Maureen, a native New Yorker, has exhibited her work in galleries and museums across the country. She creates a variety of accessories, including hats, purses, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, scarves, belts and one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art out of her favorite medium: copper wire, which she crochets.
