Downtown Colorado Springs Chick Crawl

The Manitou Springs Chick Crawl is expanding to downtown Colorado Springs. It's a guided girls night out, featuring food, wine and in-store events at shopping hot spots. Founder Sara Keller says the downtown Colorado Springs event will happen Wednesday, April 14. It's a pedestrian-friendly event designed to introduce women to the unique shopping and dining opportunities available locally. Participants receive refreshments, discounts and gifts while visiting stores and dining establishments. All through the night, Sara and her specially selected shopping and dining gurus provide guidance and tips on shopping locally. This crawl begins at The Famous Steakhouse and features samples of their signature appetizers. From there, the crawl moves to The Savory Spice Store (over 140 spices ground weekly on premises). Terra Verde (the largest lifestyle boutique in downtown Colorado Springs) is happily offering extended hours just for the Chick Crawl. Then, the chicks move down Tejon Street to Title Nine (apparel and accessories for fitness-minded women) and on to LuLu (high-end women's fashions and consignment). The last retail stops of the evening are Kirk and Hill ("girl-where-did-you-find-that" clothing and accessories) and Saboz (the totally UNEXPECTED item that puts a smile on your face and a skip in your step) At the end of the evening, the chicks will all return to the Famous Steakhouse to share their shopping experiences and acquisitions, and to take advantage of special offers from the Famous. All participants can compare notes on shopping and dining in downtown Colorado Springs, and spend some time networking and relaxing. Tickets are $30 and space is limited. All reservations must be prepaid.
