Lantern Parade

The Lantern Parade will feature original lanterns made by local artists and students. The theme of the parade this year is 'Animal Welfare'. The lanterns are made of wicker, wire, cardboard and are covered with paper. The lanterns are illuminated from within by battery operated lights.

The parade participants will congregate at Soda Springs Park at 7 p.m. At 7:30, the luminous parade will head down Manitou Avenue to Mansion's Park where there will be music and refreshments.
