Painting the Soul with Lance Green

Expand your creative potential and explore the freedom of contemporary painting. A “free form” painting workshop which focuses on the “under painting” technique and utilizing your intuition. In part one, Lance discusses expressionism and the subconscious’ role in painting and shares examples of the under painting technique in several of his pieces. Students will then create many layers of under painting in a random fashion. In part two, students look at their canvases that reveal the images that they have created subconsciously. Those images lead the students to render a subject and complete their painting.
