Ben Cantú has quickly become one of the most sought after young guitarists in Colorado. He has worked with many ensembles including the Playground Ensemble, Ars Nova Singers, Pro Musica, Colorado Chamber Orchestra, and the Pueblo Symphony Orchestra. Cantú received his bachelor of music degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and his master of music degree from the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music under the tutelage of Stephen Aron and Ricardo Iznaola, respectively. He is currently pursuing a doctorate of musical arts degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder in classical guitar performance with Jonathan Leathwood. Sponsored by the Guitar Society of Colorado Springs and the Colorado College Summer Festival of the Arts.
