The Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts (TLCA) 2010 concert series brings another outstanding musical group to the Tri-Lakes area when Braithwaite-Uveges-Sokol light up the stage in the intimate concert setting of the Center for the Arts. These talented musicians combine the harmonies of Crosby, Stills, and Nash with a mix of country-folk rock tunes to create a marriage of styles that makes for an eclectic evening of vocal and instrumental sensations.
K.J. Braithwaite (Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Mandolin, Lead Vocals), Joe Uveges (Acoustic guitar and Lead Vocals), and Jim Sokol (Vocals) have been performing together in various artistic collaborations for more than 20 years. Originally, they formed a band called 'Amicus' which played the Front Range of Colorado for 10 years. The sound was a mix of cover and original material in the folk/rock/rockabilly tradition. After spending time apart and each creating their own music, they are together again to recreate the magic - part harmony, part country rock drive, and all fun-loving party music.
