    If you can't make the Pikes Peak Community College Gala and Silent Auction fundraiser on June 12, you are invited to tour nine innovative designs for green living, constructed by PPCC Interior Design students teams. Back for an encore after last year's wild success, the Design for Hope project, inspired by HGTV's popular show, "Design Star," provides each team with three walls and a floor platform, which serve as blank canvases. ...

    If you can't make the Pikes Peak Community College Gala and Silent Auction fundraiser on June 12, you are invited to tour nine innovative designs for green living, constructed by PPCC Interior Design students teams. Back for an encore after last year's wild success, the Design for Hope project, inspired by HGTV's popular show, "Design Star," provides each team with three walls and a floor platform, which serve as blank canvases. Donations of furniture, lighting, finishes, and artwork, all with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency and environmentally-friendly content, are featured in the designs. Rooms will be judged by celebrity judges Kim Myles of HGTV's Myles of Style and winner of Design Star's second season, and Matt Locke of Colorado Springs, and a competitor in Design Star from Season 3. Everyone is invited to vote for their personal favorite room! Photo shows last year's winner of Judges Environmental Award.
