New York City's Time's Square comes to Colorado Springs this New Year's Eve, 2010. A world-renowned laser light show with fireworks and sound effects, a hot air balloon "glow and rise" (instead of a mere ball drop), live music, and thousands of Mountain Time Zone residents from the Front Range, all televised live.

I really like the idea of this event and hope it turns out to be a great success. I don't go out on New Year's Eve but this event just may tempt me to join the fun this year
