      I'm thrilled with all the yummy produce I'm getting in my Venetucci Farm CSA that I pick up at CFAM. My family loves Colorado produce and supporting local farmers too. Thanks to all the local hard working farmers in Colorado that are committed to growing us fresh, pesticide free food. Collapse

I suggest you buy a CSA and you will see it "full of local Produce" that's ripe in June. Live within your season. And if you want more variety this time of year go to CA or be patient and wait for mother nature & the farmers to deliver in season. M.E. Collapse

      Examine your expectations. Consider where you live. Learn about what temps and time different plants need for maturation. Visit Venetucci Farm (20 minutes from downtown)and see for yourself. It's still too early to have a huge variety of produce at a real farmer's market. You may find tomatoes and sweet corn at a peddler's market in June, but don't fool yourself into thinking you're buying local. Don't give up on CFAM. It is where you will find the organic farmers from southern Colorado who are only allowed to sell what they grow. They will only be selling what's in season, the peak of which isn't until August in Colorado. Move to CA or shop at Walmart if you want a huge selection of produce in June. Collapse

      I love the market at Margarita at Pine Creek! My family has attended this market for 3 years now. The vendors are friendly, the food is awesome and the weekly music acts are great. It feels like a community...I really feel like I have relationships with the farmers, the ACTUAL folks who grow the crops. Many markets use veggies from other parts of the state, I want my food to be within 50 miles or less from my home. I recommend this market to all my friends and family- it really is the best in C.       Please keep in mind that this market is only for growers and producers selling their own items, so the produce selection is limited this time of year by what is actually ready and available in this part of Colorado. More is available each week as the season progresses, so try later on in late July or even August if you are looking for warmer season crops like peaches, melons, tomatoes, corn, etc. Collapse

      Very disappointed - 7 vendors maybe? We were there at 3pm and looking for all the great local fruits and vegtables and one vender only had a handful of pint size strawberries - I couldn't believe... Expand

      I love the market at Margarita at Pine Creek! My family has attended this market for 3 years now. The vendors are friendly, the food is awesome and the weekly music acts are great. It feels like a community...I really feel like I have relationships with the farmers, the ACTUAL folks who grow the crops.
