Finders and Youngberg

The Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts 2010 concert series brings back Finders and Youngberg for an encore performance in the intimate concert setting of the Center for the Arts.
Having all served time on the circuit with various other bands and projects, this 'retooled' band is playing some serious bluegrass. The quintet stretches the genre to include honky-tonk, old-time, blues and folk sounds. Their thoughtful arrangements and instrumental prowess are woven into their award-winning original songs. Although Erin Youngberg and Mike Finders share most of the lead vocals, all five members contribute to the singing in some manner. This group emits the same sound and energy that had the audience at last years' TLCA concert standing, cheering, and howlin' for more! Three of the members are from the original band. Erin (Bass, Vocals) is the most experienced of the group, having started in her daddy's bluegrass band when she was nine. Aaron Youngberg (Banjo, Pedal Steel) has been part of the Colorado bluegrass scene for many years and is considered one of the best banjo pickers around. Mike (Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals) has been playing guitar since the age of seven, and won the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest twice, one year in the bluegrass category and the following year in the gospel category.
