    A Hero's Life

The Maestro begins his final season with an artistic milestone: Strauss's Ein Heldenleben- "A Hero's Life." The work Demands enormous orchestral forces, telling of adventures in battle and peace. Mozart's Overature to The Abduction from the Seraglio begins the preformance with bursts of joy, and Copland's Applician Spring is a keepsake of countryside, devotion, and home.
