Seussical the Musical
June 19-June 20, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Centering on Horton the elephant's endeavors to protect the people of Who-ville, Seussical the Musical also features characters and scenarios from many other Dr. Seuss books, including the Butter Side Uppers/Downers from The Butter Battle Book, Gertrude McFuzz, and some characters that never made an appearance in any of Dr. Seuss's books. The Cat in the Hat, an outside observer, acts as narrator and devil's advocate throughout the show, briefly leaping into the action on several occasions to create conflict and keep the story moving. Directed by Billie McBride, with musical direction provided by Linda Weise. This production features currently enrolled students as well as faculty members Linda Weise and Colin Gregory. The production ensemble includes CSC alumni Stephen Ochsner, David Siegel,
Devin Malloy and Jacob Eichengreen. Choreography by Tripp Fountain (also a CSC alumnus).
