Janiva Magness, one of the top female blues artists in the country and headliner at Blues Under The Bridge in 2009, returns to the Pikes Peak region. Janiva Magness has been steadily rising in popularity over the last 15 years since her debut album. Her popularity earned her both the prestigious B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award and Contemporary Female Blues Artist of the Year Award in 2009 from the Blues Foundation in Memphis TN. The Devil is an Angel Too, her current release on Alligator Records, is currently enjoying success at the #1 position of the Blues charts. Janiva Magness, as the saying goes, has arrived.
