    Featuring an early morning Inaugural Assault on the Peak (beginning at 7 a.m.): Cyclists will ride through the City of Manitou and then climb a closed lane of US Highway 24 up Ute Pass to the town of Cascade. The event is now 24.5 miles up with a total ascent of over 7700 vertical feet to the summit of America's mountain, Pikes Peak....and 24.5 miles down with 7700 feet of descent! We expect to see the first riders coming back down the Peak around 11 a.m. to join in the festival with the rest of the enthusiasts and cyclists.

    10 a.m.: 3rd Annual Peak Region Cyclist Bicycle Festival - Cycling companies (shops, builders, apparel, nutrition, manufactuers, coaching...). We will see quite a few cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts coming by to take a look at what is available in the cycling community, and a lot of cyclists will join in the fun by riding to the event. At the event you can expect to see the hardcore cyclist looking to set a time-record on Pikes Peak, as well as the casual/recreational rider just out to learn more about cycling with their family and friends at a free event.
