Lukas Nelson has a famous father, but don't let that fool you. Lukas and his band The Promise of the Real have a talent all their own. He's just finishing up a tour with BB KING and you may have seen him April 19th, opening for that "oh! so very famous" father of his at the World Arena in Colorado Springs! He blew us away and we worked hard to bring him to our home here at the Triple Nickel in Colorado Springs. Lukas's Brother Micah Nelson is the Drummer for The Reflectables. We're keeping it all in the family this night people! More excellent Country/Blues/Rock N roll as you'd expect from the Nelson family. Local favorite Joe Johnson will be opening the bill! (In our contract with the band's management, We're not allowed to mention who Lukas's famous father, but with a last name like Nelson, I'm sure you can guess.)
