“When Samba Becomes Americana” is a story that contrasts Brazilian and American culture in a comic way. The story captures the real life experience of a Brazilian Blondie becoming the Americana. If you want to learn about the Brazilian Blondie you first have to learn about Brazil. Brazil is more than a country. It is a sensation and it is a mood that you cannot describe. You cannot define it and you can only feel it. The story begins when the Brazilian Blondie meets the Americano tourist. Culture can transform our body, mind, and soul. In this story, the Brazilian Blondie encounters the Americano in a series of humorous and sensual cultural clashes. You will experience the freedom of Brazilian culture – the burlesque, the samba, and the carnival. This freedom of expression clashes with the American culture as the Brazilian Blondie is transformed to the Americana and the Americano becomes enchanted with the sensations and feelings of the Brazilian Blondie.
