In 2003, Popovic was nominated for a W.C. Handy Blues Award for Best New Artist of the Year and was the first European artist to perform at the Handy Awards. That same year she released Comfort To The Soul. Two years later, Popovic released her first live effort, Ana! Live in Amsterdam. The next couple of years found the release of Still Making History (2007) and Blind For Love (2009) which were both well received by her fans and critics alike. September, 2010 will bring the release of her first DVD entitled An Evening at Trasimeno Lake, which is also available on CD. “Ana has been making the rounds of festivals and clubs in Colorado this year and we’re thrilled to be able to have her appear at the Crystola Roadhouse” explains Amy Whitesell of A Music Company Inc., promoter of the show. “The Crystola has become a favorite performance venue for the many blues artists A Music Company is bringing to the region and I expect this show to be a sellout because we’ve gotten so many requests to bring Ana here.”
