Laws of the Land will exhibit the work of artist Margaret Whiting as she explores contemporary issues related to land use and encourages thoughtful consideration of the laws that regulate our relationship to the land. to do this she will highlight phrases and words in the text of law books to build new statements. Related programming will explore the history and future of the Mining Law of 1872.
